Join us at Out of the Park on Sunday, June 23, at the Hatch Memorial Shell on the Charles River Esplanade. “Out of the Park” is a free, family-oriented event that brings the Fenway Park experience out to the community - live on the big screen.
Bring a blanket to watch the game on our big screen and cheer on the Red Sox as they take on the Cincinnati Reds!
The NESN broadcast will be shown on a 16x30-foot video screen, courtesy of a feed provided by Xfinity. NESN will also host their pregame show live from the Hatch Memorial Shell, weather permitting, with the event starting at 12:30 p.m.
The events will also include many of the signature elements and amenities that can be found in and around Fenway Park and Jersey Street during home games, such as caricaturists, balloon artists, and face painters.
Red Sox Mascot Wally the Green Monster, his sister Tessie, along with a live DJ will be present throughout the day.
Attendees will also have a chance to take rides on the carousel with free vouchers and participate in giveaways.
The concept for “Out of the Park,” which is supported by Boston Parks & Recreation, was created in 2014 from a shared focus on community building between the City, Highland Street Foundation, and the Red Sox.
The free event is part of the club’s Fan & Youth initiatives which aims to provide greater access to Red Sox games, enhance kids experiences at Fenway Park, and celebrate and strengthen the game of baseball in the community.
