The event returns to the banks of the Charles River along Memorial Drive between JFK Street and Western Avenue.

11:30 a.m. Parade including marching band, dragon dancers, and giant puppets begins at Winthrop Park at Winthrop Street and JFK Street, goes south on JFK Street, then turns east onto Memorial Drive, where the River Festival takes place, and travels through the festival to end around Corporal Burns Park on Flagg Street. All are welcome to join in the parade: To be in the parade, come in costume and/or with props to Winthrop Park at Winthrop Street and JFK Street by 11:15 a.m.
