The Seacoast Science Center offers day camps for children from 3 ½ years old to 5th grade during holiday break from December 26-28. Sessions are offered by the day or by the week, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; extended care is available.

The cost is $50/day for members and $55/day for non-members. Each session has a different theme that includes outdoor exploration, takes advantage of the season and is full of hands-on activities.

Lessons incorporate the rich natural and historic resources of Odiorne Point State Park and the Gulf of Maine, current ocean science and lots of fun. All children gain skills that positively impact their well-being and development.

Sessions are designed for each age group. Treks 4 Tots (3 ½ - 5 years old) sessions develop a child's confidence, foster their curiosity and have a higher naturalist-child ratio. Trekkers have a separate cozy and comfortable learning area. Sessions for Safari campers (K-5) have activities and content that build on what students learn in school. Campers begin to learn how to be citizen scientists; content becomes richer and exploration extends further afield, venturing throughout Odiorne to discover new habitats.
