The Seacoast Science Center's Seaside Safari Day Camp, for children in grades K-5, incorporates outdoor learning in historically rich Odiorne Point State Park, and engages children with hands-on science activities and interactive exhibits.

Each day's adventure is planned around a different theme.

Themes: Mon., Shipwrecks; Tues., Crustacean Curiosities; Wed., Secrets Beneath the Ice; Thurs., Amazing Sharks and Skates; Fri., Arctic Adventures.

Safari Winter Camp is offered for two weeks, Monday-Friday, February 18-22 and February 25-March 1 from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Extended care is available.

Sign up by the day or for the week.

Cost is $50 a day for SSC members; $55 for non-members or $250 a week for SSC members; $275 for non-members; For a complete schedule and a registration form visit www.seacoastsciencecenter.org/programs/day_camp.

From 95 North or South
Take exit 5 on Interstate 95 North or South to the Portsmouth Traffic Circle. From the Circle take Route 1 By-Pass South to Beaches/Hampton. After 1 mile the road connects with Route 1 South. Follow Route 1 South for approximately 1 mile. At the third traffic light (sixth from traffic circle), take a left onto Elwyn Road. Pass the Urban Forestry Center (on your left), go approximately 1.3 miles to the roundabout at Foye's Corner. Go half-way around the roundabout onto Route 1A South. Continue for 1.8 miles, past the Odiorne Point State Park boat launch parking area (on left), to the main entrance of Odiorne Point State Park (on left).
