Come and learn about your role in reducing global poverty and food insecurity! Including different methods to get involved, and how international poverty impacts you domestically.I will be discussing how the non-profit, The Borgen Project, works to mobilize and pass anti-poverty legislation.
Current efforts can be made worldwide to stabilize markets and reduce overpopulation.
Reducing global poverty has domestic impacts as well.
I will be covering these methods, current efforts at legislation, and what can be done here in the U.S. to fight poverty.
