Part of the Community Canvas Series presented by the Office of Economic Opportunity and Inclusion is bringing community events to Mattapan Square in July August and September.

The Seafood Throwdown competition is a fun educational and community-driven activity that promotes local seafood and features two local Chefs from local restaurants.

The event features mystery seafood and is accompanied by fresh seasonable ethnic vegetables and possibly fruit grown by farmers market vendors.

The event highlights the farmers at the market local neighborhood Chefs and local seafood.

The Office of Economic Opportunity and Inclusion Office of Mayornsors Community Canvas Pop-up events Michelle Wu spo.

The Pop-ups will take place in Nubian Square and Mattapan Square on Saturdays in July August and September.
