'Uncommon Threads' Modern Dance Collaboration

This unique collaboration will include music, dance, video, and poetry with some adult content.
Performances will be held on May 15 and 16 at 8 pm, and May 17 at 6 pm.

The multi-faceted “Uncommon Threads”dance program will combine five premieres from Encore Dance Ensemble (Encore) along with other favorites from its repertoire, a restaging of excerpts from “Mary Had A…” by Moving West’s resident choreographer Anne Lemos Edgerton, and the spoken poetry of Ariane Cyusa, co-directed and interpreted by Kara Sullivan and Lynne Johnson Grynkewicz.
“Uncommon Threads” will be the first time Encore Dance Ensemble (Encore) will appear at the Performing Arts Center of MetroWest.
Choreographer dancers for this program are Paula Fiore, Patricia Koenitzer, Elaine Sisler, and Christine Vozella, along with dancers Ann Budner, Paula Rushboldt, and Anne Schwartz.
Encore is a company of seven experienced dancers who have all danced professionally in the past.

PAC is located on the third floor of the Danforth Museum Building, at 140 Pearl Street, in Downtown Framingham.
Park in the Danforth lot and look for the red awning on the Pearl Street side of the building. Enter through the red door and take the elevator to our studios.
