Boston Ballet continues its 52nd season with its annual Next Generation performance at the Boston Opera House.
The program features the Pre-Professional Program students from Boston Ballet School (BBS).
The performance will also include dancers from Boston Ballet’s second company Boston Ballet II (BBII), along with young musicians from New England Conservatory’s Orchestra.
This year’s program opens with Les Passages, which showcases all levels of the Pre-Professional Program through classroom material choreographed by Boston Ballet School Faculty.
The evening also includes Over Glow, a work created by Resident Choreographer Jorma Elo, and excerpts from The Sleeping Beauty Act III, after Marius Petipa with Peter Martins and Alla Nikitina, performed by Pre-Professional students.
The one-night-only performance will take place on Wednesday, May 18 at 7:00 pm, at the Boston Opera House.
