Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s career has featured over two decades of groundbreaking work, often fusing flamenco and hip-hop with classical and contemporary ballet.
Lopez Ochoa’s work Continuing Points, is a revisitation of one of her early works, as Lopez Ochoa, recipient of the prestigious Jacob’s Pillow 2019 Choreography Award, brings new life into an old favorite.
Also on the bill, a world premiere from Boston Ballet principal dancer Lia Cirio and the return of the bright and brilliant Paquita Suite, hailed for its classical bravura and energy, this is one blockbuster performance you won’t want to miss!
The program marks the first FBP performance at the new Woodman Family Community & Performing Arts Center, a charming and intimate 500 seat venue situated on the campus of Moses Brown School.
The theater, completed in 2016, which boasts exquisite state-of-the-art acoustics, seating, and sightlines, will host an additional FBP repertory program, “Blue Until June,” in the spring.
