Enjoy dances set to the music of African American composers of the last three centuries including Florence Beatrice Price, Undine Smith Moore, Jesse Montgomery, Courtney Bryan, Flutronix, and Carlos Simon, along with live renditions of Montsalvatge’s Cinco Canciones Negras.Ionic World, a new piece inspired by origins, destruction, and rebirth - begins the program.
