There’s much more to the museum than its live animals!

Discover your Blue Hills Trailside Museum at this free event on Saturday, April 1 from 10:00 am–5:00 pm.

Take a short guided walk as we share the life stories of the museum’s animal residents and demonstrate how we care for them.

Did you know that each of the animals has a disability?

Discuss with museum staff the results of the museum’s animal conservation projects, and what’s been learned from museum-sponsored research on Snowy Owls and other birds of prey.

Find out how the museum helps people explore nature.

Museum staff will be on hand to describe school and group programs, public programs, and the museum’s very popular summer day camp.

Come and take part in the future of the museum, our gateway to the Blue Hills and the nature of Massachusetts!
