Dinos will ROAR into Boston this Memorial Day
As visitors are immersed in a prehistoric journey through time at Destination Dino, they will be enthralled by the vast array of fascinating dinosaurs awaiting them at every turn.
With more than a dozen moving, roaring, life-like animatronic dinosaurs, including the imposing Tyrannosaurus rex, this is a unique experience not to be missed.
Destination Dino visitors will enter into prehistoric times as they journey around a large pond where they will encounter dinosaurs including a Diabloceratops and baby, a Baryonyx, a Dilophosaurus and many others all nestled within the trees, bushes and undergrowth for a truly realistic experience.
Kids will also have fun pretending they are paleontologists at the nearby Dino Dig where they can “dig” for recreations of fossils and bones.
In addition to Destination Dino, there will be many opportunities throughout the summer to explore even more of the roar.
Breakfast with the Dinos programs will be available, as well as opportunities to book an overnight adventure.
Part of the Snorin’ Roarin’ Sleepover program, participants in the dino overnights will learn more about extinction, as well as enjoy a flashlight tour through Destination Dino and a visit to the Tropical Forest to see the dwarf crocodile – a living relative of the dinosaurs.
More information about both of these programs can be found at http://www.zoonewengland.org/franklin-park-zoo/dinos.
