The exhibition will be on display from Friday, May 3, through Sunday, June 23, at the Gallery at WREN, 2011 Main Street in Bethlehem.

An opening reception will be held on Friday, May 3, from 5-7 pm, providing the public an opportunity to tour the exhibit, meet the artists, and learn about WREN’s upcoming summer events.

Linda McDermott is an oil painter based in New Hampshire and Rhode Island.

Always a creative soul, she has painted on and off since childhood, taking art classes whenever she can.

Linda attends workshops with various local and nationally recognized artists and takes fine art classes through RISD Continuing Education.

Linda finds the most joy in painting farm animals, pet portraits, and wildlife and she photographs most of her subjects.

She has always had a tremendous love for animals and feels a strong connection to them.

She hopes to raise more awareness of animal welfare by capturing their unique personalities and soul through her art.

Jessica Fligg is an award-winning artist primarily working in oils.

Jessica studied painting at the New Hampshire Institute of Art in Manchester.

She works from her studio in Ashland, NH, and paints extensively en plein air.

She started drawing at a very young age with her great grandmother and her interest and passion for the arts has grown over the years.

Jessica travels throughout the Northeast with her newly restored vintage camper that she uses as a mobile art studio.

This is a wonderful way for her to experience new areas and capture them in plein air paintings.

Jessica also works on mixed media pieces and larger studio works that are inspired by her plein air adventures.

As the 2024 sponsor of the Gallery at WREN, The Adair Country Inn & Restaurant will also have work from this exhibit on display at their historic inn located at 80 Guider Lane in Bethlehem.

The Gallery at WREN is open Monday – Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
