At Twilight at MAAM: Time Capsule experience MAAM’s newest exhibition, 'Future Fossils,' offering a possible future view of the present.Create a rubbing using future fossil-like objects in the Barkan Family Big Ideas Studio or contribute to an imaginative time capsule collage on the Art Overlook.
And enjoy small bites with beer, wine, and mocktails from the bar.
'Future Fossils' presents a possible future view of the present, a moment frozen in time and culture.
The artworks—imagined relics—come from artists based in North America, Latin America, and Europe.
While each artist explores different paths and issues, together their works suggest the remains of an apocalypse.
Offering a snapshot of how we live today, 'Future Fossils' reveals aspects of our lives left behind for later generations to decode.
