Itís the Cityís annual River Festival reimagined as an online showcase of music, dance, theater, the Peoples Sculpture Race, Mermaid Promenade, the Climate Action Pavilion, and art activities for children. And preview the festival below.

The Cambridge Arts Stream Festival is proud to partner with Cambridge Community Television to present this work on our website as well as on CCTVís channel and streaming platforms.

Preview the festival at cambridgema.gov/streamfest, then on the day of the festival watch there or on CCTV's Channel 9, cctvcambridge.org/channel09. Live presentations will be streamed on the Facebook pages of CCTV (https://www.facebook.com/cctvcambridge/) and CambridgeArts (https://www.facebook.com/CambridgeArtsCouncil/

Performers and presenters will include Jonathan Suazo, Ken Field, Bob Toabe, Julian Loida, Rachel Sumner, Central Square Theater's Act Up and Vote, Joshua Wolf Coleman, Abilities Dance, Midday Movement, The Dance Complex, Jean-Dany Joachim, Deidre Tao, and Bren Bataclan. Plus a virtual tour of Harvard Art Museums' 'Painting Edo' exhibit.

With the health and safety of our artists, performers, audiences, vendors, suppliers, volunteers and staff as a primary consideration, the City of Cambridge and Cambridge Arts decided in April to reimagine the Cambridge Arts annual, live River Festival as a virtual event.

Join Cambridge Arts for our 2020 Stream Festival on Saturday, June 6, from 2 to 9 p.m. Itís the Cityís annual River Festival reimagined as an online showcase of music, dance, theater, the Peoples Sculpture Race, Mermaid Promenade, the Climate Action Pavilion, and art activities for children.

The event will take place in the Central Square Cultural District along Massachusetts Avenue between Prospect and Sidney Streets and down Sidney Street to Pacific Street.

The festival will feature staged and roving performances, hands-≠on art-making, a Climate Action Extravaganza, a Mermaid Promenade, and more than a hundred artists and food vendors with work for sale. The Cambridge Arts River Festival is FREE and open to all!

This free event will feature jazz, folk, roots and world music performances, dance, art demonstrations, family art-making activities, specialty food purveyors and craft folks and artisans!
