Kapow!The Northeast Comic Con and Collectibles Extravaganza brings family-friendly holiday fun to the Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Rd., Wilmington) on Saturday December 6 and Sunday December 7, 2014 from 10a-6p on Saturday and 10a to 5p on Sunday.
Costumed or not, this pop culture convention is perfect for nerds and the people who love them.
Highlights include costumed play (cosplay) for kids and adults, free video games and contests, and a NECC K!DZ area where you can make comic books and train like a Super Hero with Simply Circus.
Adults will love shopping for vintage toys and collectibles and meeting pop celebrities, illustrators and authors.
Wear a costume and get your holiday photo with Santa, dine at the Kreature Kantina featuring live entertainment and trivia, and participate in video game, card game and costume contests with Costume Super Center, and a Cosplay Deathmatch and Cosplay Dating Game.
Creatives won’t want to miss the Voice Over Actors Workshop and educational panels.
All tickets and two-day passes available at a $5 discount if you buy in advance online before 5p on Dec.

At the door, tickets are $20 adults ($30 for two-day pass).
Kids are $5 in advance per day, $10 at door per day, $10 weekend advance, $15 weekend at the door.
Children under 6 are free.
