In honor of Patriot’s Day on Monday, April 17, the City of Medford will host a Patriot’s Day Celebration at the Burial Ground Plaza on Salem St.

in Medford beginning at 10:30am.

This family-friendly event is free and open to all and will include a reading of the Governor’s Proclamation, the famous poem “The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere,”, face painting, Boston-themed food, balloon artists, music from the Medford High School Band, and more.

Attendees will then be invited to greet Paul Revere as he makes his famous ride from the North End to Lexington, stopping in Medford outside of Gaffey’s Funeral Home on Rt.

60 at approximately 12pm.
