On July 4th, starting at 10 AM, on the beautiful grounds of BRIDGEWATER STATE UNIVERSITY, THE BRIDGEWATER ARTS & MUSIC FESTIVAL puts on a festival which includes: art, live music focusing on original music, dance, yummy food, children's events such as face painting, train rides, sand art, and more.

The grounds of Bridgewater State University are lovely, spacious, and fully accessible.

Restrooms are available in Boyden Hall, and there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

Come immediately after the parade and stay awhile.

Free admission.

Crafters will be selling handmade, original wares.
Artisans will be providing demonstrations and selling as well.
Vendors have interesting and sometimes unique items for sale too!
The Kid's Festival opens at 10 am.
We will have a art show/display starting at 10:30 am - until 1:30 pm.
We are an all-inclusive festival, where everyone is welcome!

FOOD ON THE QUAD!
Come hungry to the festival and treat yourself to: PLYMOUTH PARTY!

with Hand Dipped Ice Cream, Sundaes, Frappes, Root Beer Floats; and THE SOUTH SHORE BARBEQUE MAN need we say more?

It's barbeque!, and DJ's Fresh Squeezed Lemonades, and Angie's Baked Treats, and Boston Italian Ice lemon and watermelon Italian Ice!

and also look out for the Fried Dough Truck usually on School Street!

Don't forget the Universalist Unitarian Church, just across the street from the Quad at 50 School Street.

Look for their burgers, hot dogs, wraps, sausages, vegetarian selections, strawberry shortcake, and more.

We are fully handicapped accessible, rest rooms located in Boyden Hall (and other buildings, just follow the signs), free admission, some events are free, though some charge a small fee.

  • Check out the parade downtown, then take a short, leisurely stroll down to the Quad (just follow everyone else). Have a cool drink or ice cream, sit awhile and enjoy the live music and other performances. Come see what we have to offer! It is our pleasure.
