On Saturday, June 25, 2022, we invite you to a celebration of the arts in our neighborhood.
West Medford Open Studios (WMOS) is a free arts event that lets you see the artists in our midst, celebrating the creativity and skill that many of us take for granted in our city.
WMOS will be a one-day festival located at Dugger Park along the Mystic River in West Medford.
Now celebrating our 22nd year, WMOS showcases the talents of over 50 visual artists from Medford and surrounding communities.
Come see paintings, sculpture, pottery, photographs, woodwork, drawings, fabric arts, blown glass, and jewelry— and meet the artists who create them.
This year WMOS will feature a lively line up of music performances that will play throughout the day in the outdoor space located behind the West Medford Community Center.
There will also be a performance area for participating writers who will be doing live readings of original work.
Experiencing art and live entertainment is something we all deeply missed out on last year, so come visit us with new post pandemic lenses on.
It’s time to explore the world again in person, so walk, drive or kayak over to Dugger Park, meander around and enjoy the artwork.
Take some time to chat with an artist about their process, listen to local writers and musicians, meet up with friends, and enjoy a wonderful day of the arts in West Medford.
WMOS will take place on June 26, from 11AM-6PM at Dugger Park on Mystic River Road in West Medford.
The section of Mystic River Road next the park will be blocked off to traffic, but there is plenty of free street parking in the area.
