FIGMENT is a free, participatory arts festival that invites people of all ages to play, engage, and make. This event blurs the line between artist and audience, artist and non-artist. Everything that you see at FIGMENT is born from a simple desire to share imagination with each other and the community. FIGMENT welcomes people from all walks of life to bring a creative, interactive project to life.
We invite artists, activists, dreamers, and makers to create artistic experiences that invite members of the public to shift from being a spectator to a participant in art, the urban landscape, and their community. We welcome people engaged in both traditional and non-traditional to bring work that engages a broad, family-friendly audience.
You are invited to pARTicipate by bringing your creative spirit - whether with costumes, instruments, games to share or art materials to inspire collaboration - whatever you can dream up!
