WHAT: The B Fund’s 4th Annual Halloween Candy Drive, a week long initiative inviting children and families to imagine what the difference one small piece of candy can make in the lives of those in need.
The B Fund will contribute $.25 to Boston Children’s Hospital for each piece of candy kids donated from their personal stash.
* (Up to $10,000) To date, 2,100 individuals have donated over 73,000 pieces of Halloween Candy.
WHEN: From November 1st – 7th 2016 Trick or Treaters will learn their beloved candy is not only delicious, it also has the ability to make a difference in the lives of families caring for sick kids.

WHY: To spark conversation and engage with our children and the community about the value in giving up only a few pieces of their coveted Halloween Candy.
In the process, The B Fund’s goal is to inspire others to join our growing group of compassionate individuals who understand that giving of their “treasures” will, in turn, 1) raise awareness of a group in need of support; 2) Literally provide financial support to this group.
Once collected, volunteers will inspect and sort the candy into two groups: with nuts and one without.
Next bags containing 20 pieces of candy will be created for families, patients and the staff at Boston Children’s Hospital.
Each bag will be sealed with a personalized note of encouragement, well wishes and/or a simple thank you for all their hard work.
