Join the Boston chapters of YaleWomen and the Yale Latino Alumni Association at Rebuild Puerto Rico, a music event on June 7 at the historic Villa Victoria theater in Boston’s South End.

The concert begins at 7pm, featuring Latin Jazz by Eric Hangen y La Ruta, vocal performance by Nnenna Ukwu, and New Orleans-style music by Second Line Brass Band.

Casa B of Somerville will be serving Puerto Rican specialties like empanadas, piñones (plantain lasagna), and bacalaítos (cod fritters).

The adjacent gallery will house WBUR’s Simon Ríos’ photography exhibit, Estelas de María, documenting his time reporting in the aftermath of hurricane María.

Ticket and food sales will benefit the relief and recovery effort for victims of hurricanes María and Irma through local non-profit Inquilinos Boricuas en Acción (IBA).
