A reflection of the Center for History & Culture’s mission, the Be Giving gala is a celebration of community and history.
A different kind of fundraising event, a favorite feature of Be Giving is a pop-up exhibit of stories and objects from Andover’s past.
Not your everyday, expected stories.
Be Giving features fun, unusual, different, and surprising stories told by volunteer storytellers.
Interactive games and activities are also part of Be Giving.
Be Giving includes silent auction baskets and goodies.
New to the Be Giving auction this year will be original works of art by four local artists, whose pieces were inspired by items in the History Center collection.
Artwork will be accompanied by a pop-up exhibit of the artists’ inspirational items.
A not to be missed live auction item is a private home in the south of France for a week, summer 2020, in Valros, France (near Montpelier), La Région Occitanie.
The house sleeps two couples comfortably, each with a private bathroom, a fold-out bed in the top-floor study, and a fully-equipped kitchen.
Miles of Mediterranean beach are 20 minutes away.
