Step Out for Hospice is a family-friendly event on Sunday, Oct.

6, that supports VNA Hospice & Palliative Care, a nonprofit visiting nurse association.

The day features a 1-mile Fun Run for ages 13 and younger at 11:30 am.

The Fun Run is free and a limited number of free T-shirts will be available.

Pre-registration is appreciated.

The benefit also features a 3-mile walk at noon and 5-mile road race at 12:30 pm.

Preregister for $30/$15 students or at the event for $40/$15 students.

Those who preregister receive priority access to Step Out for Hospice sweatshirts.

Participants can also enjoy live music from The Offramps, refreshments, raffle, silent auction, and more.
