Join this family hike to see a fascinating historical area, with stone walls, streams and wetland areas on what was once the Danforth Plantation.

According to legend, victims of the Salem Witch trials and their families to escaped here and hid in the caves.

Come enjoy the rolling trails and history with the kids.

Exact route will depend on group's interest, so plan to be out for 90 minutes.

Children should be able to walk at an easy adult pace for the duration, or ride in a carrier.

Not appropriate for strollers.

Bundle up with layers!

Meet across the street from the 162 mailbox on Winter Street at the trailhead. From Cordaville Road in Ashland, turn onto Winter Street. It is slightly west of the intersection with Pine Hill Road, which has street parking if needed. Look for the Outdoors Rx sign.
