Get outdoors for fresh air and exercise on a hike to the top of Prospect Hill to see the great views of Boston.
This hike, offered by the Appalachian Mountain Club's Outdoors Rx family program, will head up to Prospect Hill to see the excellent views of Boston and the area.
There are a few steep places coming off the hills, but overall trails are easy.
Exact length and route will depend on group's interests, so plan to be out for 90 minutes, approximately 1.5-2 miles.
Children should be able to keep an easy adult pace or ride in a carrier.
Water and snacks recommended.
Bundle up to enjoy the weather!
