Armed as According to Law : Captain David Brown ’s Company of Minute Men
Captain David Brown’s company—a group of Concord Minute Men who fought at the North
Bridge in 1775—assembles on the lawn of the Museum from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. Visit with the
Company, watch musket demonstrations, cartridge rolling, cooking, and other preparations for
battle, and learn about militia duty in colonial Massachusetts and what it meant to be “armed as according to law.”
All activities 1:00 – 5:00, included free with Concord Museum admission Bring the Kids!
Monday, April 20, 2015 Patriots’ Day at the Concord Museuem 11:00 – 3:00 pm
After the Town of Concord’s Patriots’ Day parade, stop by the Museum to enjoy patriotic crafts for families, try on colonial clothing, and hear a “Revolutionary Women” gallery talk at 2:00 p.m.
Explore the Concord Museum’s outstanding collection of objects that were witness to the events of April 1775, including the famous “one, if by land, two, if by sea” lantern. Drop in for a craft, take part in a scavenger hunt, chat with living history re-enactors – fun for all ages – Bring the Kids!
All activities 11:00 – 3:00, included free with Concord Museum admission
