On Sunday, December 6th, 2015, from Noon to 2PM, Temple Shalom of Medford, located at 475 Winthrop Street, welcomes everyone to its much anticipated, annual celebration of the happy holiday of Hanukkah!

First-rate children’s entertainment, arts, crafts, games, traditional potato latkes, and a children’s book fair will joyfully engage children and adults of all ages on this Festival of Lights!

Children’s Entertainer Yuri Friman, “The Prince of Color,” will delight everyone with his interactive variety show of zany antics and tons of audience participation.

The kids (and adults) will roar with laughter!

Hanukkah Party Highlights Include:

THE PRINCE OF COLOR: An interactive variety show filled with 45-minutes of fun, juggling, magical moments, and zany antics, geared for children of all ages and their families.

YUMMY HANUKKAH TREATS: Crispy hot potato latkes and soft, sugary sufganiot (Hanukkah-style jelly doughnuts) will delight palates on this festive holiday occasion.

SPECIALTY CRAFTS & GAMES: Party comers can make a real functioning Menorah or do a Hanukkah-themed craft; guests can spin dreidels and try out several unique kids’ games.

JEWISH CHILDREN’S BOOK FAIR: A wide selection of children’s books will be displayed for sale – cash only please.

These high-quality children’s books are rich with Jewish content and culture.

EARLY ENTRY FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN UNDER FOUR YEARS OLD: Families with children four years old and younger are welcome to start off the celebration early, beginning at 11:30AM.

Temple Shalom invites all community members to come experience these warm, wonderful Hanukkah traditions with family and friends.

COST: A contribution of $15 per family is suggested, (cash only please) along with a donation of a new, children’s winter clothing item, to be donated to a local shelter.

Admission cost includes all Food, Games, Entertainment and Crafts.
