Gather with other families to build an upcycled Sukkah in celebration of Sukkot at the Jason Russell House Lawn (7 Jason Street) in Arlington on Sunday, October 16 from 10-11:30am.
Enjoy a special storytime to learn about how recycled plastic bottles can be used as building materials, and then try them out to help create the walls of a communal sukkah.
The JCC partners with the Housing Corporation of Arlington, to build a sukkah that recalls the ancient Jews as well as others around the world, and in our own communities today, who are looking for a safe place to call home.
Enjoy snack together and make a craft to take home.
Geared for families with children ages 2+ years.
Suggested donation of $10/family to benefit the Housing Corporation of Arlington to be paid at the door.
Walk-ins welcome if space allows but registration strongly encouraged at bostonjcc.org/MNSukkah16.
