Visitors are invited to experience an evening of art, music, and performances highlighting the diversity of Jewish cultures and identities.
The celebration kicks of at 5 pm with a $5 minimum, pay-what-you-wish general admission and $5 minimum, pay-what-you-wish admission to Georgia O'Keeffe and Henry Moore.
Event Highlights
- Create metallic, mixed-media collages.
- Join musicians and dancers as they parade in a Hanukkah procession through the galleries.
- Take a 30-minute guided tour exploring three objects in the MFA galleries that highlight and connect to Jewish heritage.
- Join author Liz Kleinrock for a conversation about her new book What Jewish Looks Like.
- Enjoy a live dance performance choreographed by Rachel Linsky in collaboration with Ezekiel’s Wheels Klezmer Band. Centering joy and communal care, this work fuses elements of Yiddish folk dance with contemporary practice.
- Join Rabbi Marc Baker for pre-Hanukkah Blessing.
- Hear from Simona Di Nepi, Charles and Lynn Schusterman Curator of Judaica, in Intentional Beauty: Jewish Ritual Art from the Collection to learn about the rescue and recent acquisition of a historic Torah ark from Chelsea, Massachusetts.

Visitors can continue exploring Judaica across the Museum with the 10-stop Jewish Stories Tour in MFA Mobile on the Bloomberg Connects app. This multimedia tour features talks from curators and artists with text transcripts and audio descriptions of art on view.
