The City of Quincy presents the 2021 Christmas Parade and Festival, including the ceremonial Tree Lighting, annual Christmas parade and Santa arriving via helicopter to greet the kids!

Friday November 26th
5:00-7:00 p.m.
Hancock Adams Common
1305 Hancock Street

Come enjoy the Hancock Adams Common, decked with twinkling lights and a host of holiday displays!

Mayor Thomas P. Koch and special guests - maybe one from the North Pole - flip the ceremonial switch to bring the holiday spirit to the Common.

Emmy Award winning & Tony Award nominee, Liz Callaway and Costumed Characters will make your spirits bright.

A heated tent will be set up for the event.

Ongoing Activities from 5-7pm:
Strolling Victorian Carolers
Street Performers
Costumed Characters
Letter writing to Santa activity
FREE Popcorn and Hot Chocolate

6:30 p.m. Liz Callaway who sang the Academy Award nominated song “Journey to the Past” in the animated feature Anastasia will perform followed by the Tree lighting ceremony hosted by Mayor Koch and special guest.

Saturday, November 27th
12 noon
Pageant Field (One Merrymount Pkwy)

Santa and his elves arrive in Quincy by helicopter, landing at Pageant Field, at this fun family event.

While waiting for the touchdown of the Jolly Old Elf and friends, say hello to one of the friendly costumed characters!

Sunday, November 28th
12:00-3:30 p.m.
Hancock Street

The Christmas Parade has been a tradition for Quincy families for many years. Floats, marching bands, and costumed characters fill Quincy streets, spreading the holiday joy to all.

The parade route begins at the intersection of Hancock Street and Walter J. Hannon Parkway, continuing up Hancock Street to North Quincy High School.
