Come visit the Museum and show us your own holiday traditions and participate in family friendly activities during December School Vacation Week.

Make a holiday craft to share with the crew of USS Constitution or create a holiday LEGO creation!

We’ll have a host of family friendly activities happening in our award winning galleries and can’t wait to welcome you for a week of fun!

LEGO® Shipyard
• Daily: 10:00 am- 5:00 pm

The LEGO Shipyard will be open and buzzing with activity!

Come build a LEGO ship or try to complete one of our challenge cards!

We’ll also be running our LEGO Invention Factory so put on your thinking caps and see if you can help USS Constitution sailors solve a daily task by building a LEGO invention to help!

Of course we’ll also have a special community build that we’ll need your help completing!

Holiday Crafts
• Daily: 10:00 am- 5:00 pm

Create a nautical, holiday themed keepsake to take home or share with “Old Ironsides” and her crew by placing it on the Ship’s Christmas Tree.

Get creative and share your favorite holiday symbols!

Letters of Thanks
• Daily: 10:00 am- 5:00 pm

Give thanks this holiday season to those who are currently serving or have served in the military by writing a letter of gratitude.

Share your favorite holiday traditions in the letter and help reach the Museum’s goal of 50,000 letters!

Frigates of Foam
• Daily: 10:00 am- 5:00 pm

Ships have been inspiring modelers for centuries.

After exploring the galleries and seeing the models on display, join the tradition and build your very own model ship.

Kits can be purchased at the front desk for $2.00.

All proceeds benefit the Museum’s educational programs.

Built to Win Program
• Tuesday- Saturday: 1:00 pm- 4:00 pm

Follow in the tradition of shipbuilders before you and see if you can design and build a ship that will be both strong and fast!

Using supplies provided by the Museum, complete your design and test it in our water tank!

Join us in the LEGO Shipyard for this family friendly challenge.
