ABOUT ARLINGTON 250 & THE SEMIQUINCENTENNIAL

The Arlington 250 Committee is the organizing body for the Town of Arlington, MA’s commemoration of the semiquincentennial — the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution.

It includes representatives from Arlington’s Select Board, School Committee, Tourism and Economic Development (A-TED) committee, Historical Society, Chamber of Commerce, and Commission for Arts and Culture (Arts Arlington); Town Meeting; the Battle Road Scenic Byway Committee; the Menotomy Minutemen; and volunteers from the community at large.

Revolution 250 is a non-profit organization that is capturing the history of the revolution in Massachusetts; the MA Office of Travel & Tourism has created MA 250, a statewide marketing campaign commemorating the past and celebrating the future of our Commonwealth.
