Imagine sitting in a bumper car on icemoving forwards, backward and sideways with a full 360-degree turn radius bumping opponents out of your way! Alex & Ani City Center is one of the first outdoor rink to host this unique all-ages entertainment. This downtown Providence rink, known as the Alex and Ani City Center is also attached to a shopping mall with lots of options for a kid-friendly meals. It's a cool new way to enjoy an ice rink, and certainly adds a new dimension of fun to your winter experience.
These vehicles, which can accommodate multiple passengers, have a joystick that allows you to glide in a 360 degree radius around the rink, and seat belts and inflatable sides keep the experience safe and pretty jostle-free for all. Bumper cars operate on 1/3 of the ice.
General Rules
Kids need to be at least 6 years old and at least 42” tall to ride to operate a car alone.
To take a passenger with you, you must be at least 16 years old and the passenger must be between the ages of 3 and 5 years old.
Reservations are strongly recommended.
You must fill out a waiver form (online, or in person) to participate.
Walk-ups can be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.
All Bumper Car reservations do require full payment prior to your arrival.

Hours of operation vary by day. The bumper cars usually share the ice with skaters, but are sometimes given the full rink to roam, so be sure the check the daily schedule for specifics.
