Enjoy a one-of-a-kind winter adventure at Harvard’s WinterFest, featuring ice bumper cars, crackling fire pits, and delicious s’mores at the Science Center Plaza in Cambridge!Get ready to zigzag, bump, and spin alongside your friends, fellow students, or even brave passersby!
It’s the newest addition to Harvard’s popular WinterFest program which also features fire pits, outdoor games, and music!
Take a ride Wednesdays through Saturdays, from noon to 3:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., from January 30th through March 13th, 2025 (weather permitting).
Just $5 for Harvard I.D.
Card holders and $10 for the adventure-loving public (Youthful enthusiasts aged 7–17 need their parents or guardians to join Ice Bumper Cars!).
What are Ice Bumper Cars?
A winter take on the traditional amusement park bumper car, combining the thrill of bumping into other cars with the excitement of gliding across the ice.
Is There Parking?
There is no onsite parking due to the nature of the plaza space.
Metered parking is available on surrounding streets and throughout Harvard Square.
How Many People Can Ride in One Car?
One person per car, per ticket.
Riders must be ages 7+, at least 48' tall, and a max weight of 300 lbs.
Riders under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for ticket purchase and to complete a ride waiver.
What if There is Inclement Weather?
In the event of inclement weather, all operations will be closed for the day.
