The Sudbury Historical Society will hold its first Home & Hearth Tour on Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The tour will feature Lower Concord Road from the Town Center to Mill Village and will include entrance to up to seven private homes, the Hosmer House, and the History Room at the Goodnow Library.

Our goal is to show how the Lower Concord Road neighborhood has evolved over time as property owners and businesses have come and gone, yet has retained its architectural character in large part due to thoughtful ownership and the town’s establishment of two historic districts.

Concord Road is one of Sudbury’s most scenic treasures.

The SHS is working with GetLocalMA.com to put together a fabulous day with lots to enjoy.

To begin the tour, pick up your tickets and tour booklet at the Hosmer House.

The tour booklet will be your guide for the day.

Make your way by foot down Concord Road or move your car along the route parking at designated areas.

Visit the historic properties then dine or shop in Mill Village.

Booths and Exhibitors selling antiques, crafts, and more are planned.

Then relax back at the Hosmer House or head over to Sudbury Town Square at the end of the day. You won’t want to miss this community event.

Tickets are on sale now, $25 for general admission and $20 for SHS members.

Contact [email protected] to reserve your tickets or for more information.

If you are a business that would like to be involved, contact [email protected].

Proceeds from this fundraiser support the general operations of the nonprofit Sudbury Historical Society.
