Prospects of all ages will have the opportunity to sample various instruments, play music with others, and participate in group exercises and class demonstrations.
Meet the Instruments and More on Sunday, September 11, from 11:00am to 2:00pm invites all ages to explore Brookline Music School's class offerings and sample various instruments.
Try woodwinds, brass, strings, guitar, piano, and drums at the school's annual Instrument Petting Zoo.
Learn about private music lessons and what else the school offers in Beyond Private Lessons, including early childhood music, group piano, and dance classes, Suzuki violin and flute, voice classes, music therapy, music theory, salons, concerts, and more.
Demo classes will take place in between 11:00am and 2:00pm.
Bring your instrument to the Chamber Open House from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, and play with others or meet fellow students interested in forming groups for the fall term.
Listen to student performances and engage in fun group exercises to create instant chamber music!
The Chamber Open House is recommended for ages 10 to adult.
Brookline Music School offers a curriculum that is appropriate for every stage of life: from infant to elementary, grade school to middle school, teen and high school years, adulthood and beyond.
Faculty will be available throughout the Open House Day to offer guidance in making the best choices for each individual as they move from one life stage to the next.
