The Smithsonian’s Innoskate program travels the country celebrating inventive creativity in skate culture.

Meet legendary skateboarders Rodney Mullen and Christian Hosoi at the Smithsonian’s Traveling Skateboarding Program, Innoskate 2016!

In collaboration with the Lemelson-MIT Program, Innoskate 2016 comes to the Lynch Family Skatepark in Cambridge to spark the imagination of skaters and non-skaters of all ages through skate demonstrations, discussions with skaters and inventors, hands-on invention educational activities, and other fun activities.

Learn about invention and creativity in skateboarding with skaters, historians, inventors and scientists from the Smithsonian and MIT.  Meet legendary skateboarder Rodney Mullen, Christian Hosoi and other pioneers of skateboarding history.
