Jewish Learning Adventures for Kids Experiential, skill-building classes that connect children to Jewish life.

Held on Thursdays, January 19-March 16 from 3:30-4:30pm at the Leventhal-Sidman JCC (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton.

For children ages 5-8 years.

Kids will explore how food goes from farm to table with a former camp garden educator.

Each week, we will investigate one part of this path, from composting to harvesting.

We will re-grow vegetables from scraps and identify stages of plants, while learning about what Jewish tradition has to say about caring for the earth.

Cost is $212; JCC member cost: $186.

Registration begins December 8.
