The Skillset Series is a series of professional development workshops geared toward artists and independent contractors that aim to sharpen the business side of things.

Topics include web development, legal concerns, money matters, writing, and PR.

The web is an excellent medium for showcasing and customizing your visual/performing arts portfolio.

This workshop will cover both pre-made (“out-of-the-box”) options for websites and provide participants with the vocabulary and resources to design their own.

We will cover design options that relate to visual and performing artists specifically.

Tips for finding and collaborating with technology professionals will also be provided.

Participants will walk away with an outline for their new or re-designed website, and a digital guide to help move their project forward.

*Coding skills are not required for attendees, nor will any coding be done in this workshop.
