Considering shopping more sustainably this year?

On Wednesday, November 6th, join For Now in Boston's Seaport District to learn where to start and what to look out for this holiday season!

From 6pm to 8pm, moderator Shannon Lohr, Founder of Factory45 (an online accelerator program that takes sustainable fashion companies from idea to launch) will discuss with a panel of founders the decisions they made when it comes to responsible manufacturing and the importance of shopping mission-driven brands.

From 'Sustainable' to 'Organic' to 'Ethically Made' to 'Made in the USA', the following panelists will explain what to look for and why you should care about these terms when shopping for sustainable products:

-Cayla O'Connell Davis, Founder of Knickey: 100% organic cotton undies
-Christina Pardy, Founder of Shit that I Knit: knitwear handmade by a team of women in Peru
-Nicole Rattner, Founder of Sourcery Label: a line of sustainable, washable silk
-Sophie Quinn, Founder of Couplet: ethically sourced fine jewelry

A Q+A will follow, but anyone that has a topic they'd like to have covered during the panel are encouraged to contact the For Now team at [email protected].

Complimentary drinks will be provided.

For Now is a pop-up collective and retail incubator in the Boston Seaport.

It’s a place where customers and one-of-a-kind e-commerce brands can connect in real life; no screens attached.

On a regular basis, 15-20 brands are hosted for 2-4 months at a time.
