Join us as we hear from the youth of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston as they express their vision for America through spoken word, poetry, and musical performances inspired by Emma Lazarus’ poem, The New Colossus.

This virtual performance is the culminating event in a semester-long workshop on the history and relevance of our shared story as immigrants and newcomers.

We are happy to announce this inspirational new partnership between The American Jewish Historical Society, The Tenement Museum, Together Beat Hate, and The Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston that blends our American and Jewish history to foster deeper civic engagement.

This performance is free, virtual and open to all.

Families with children ages 8 to 18 are encouraged to participate.
