Join Owl Eyes Wilderness Survival in this survival class for kids!

There is no age minimum or maximum (this is not an adult class, but parents are welcome to join in for free), but students must be able to hold a knife and carve.

Usually 7 and up is best.

Each class, every student will go home with what they worked on (and hopefully finished in class).

Children's Survival 101 is Owl Eyes Wilderness Survival's basic class for children.

All experience levels are welcome.

This is a very popular class and will equip your child with basic and foundational wilderness skills.

SKILLS COVERED:

• Knife Use/Sharpening/Safety
• Fire Building with Modern Tools
• Debris Shelter Building
• Outdoor Clothing Selection
• How to Build a Survival Kit
• Signaling for Rescue

RECOMMENDED GEAR FOR CLASS:

• OEWS Basic Kit or Complete Kit
• Water and snacks
• Appropriate clothing for weather and bugs

This is not a drop off event and parents are required to stay for the duration of this program.

Parent participation is not mandatory but their attendance is.

This class is taught by Tim Swanson, founder and lead instructor of Owl Eyes Wilderness Survival.
