Take part in a story circle –a simple gathering that invites community members to share personal experience, building group wisdom on a particular topic. All ages welcome.

Democracy is a conversation, not a monologue.

Most years, the President delivers a State of the Union Address highlighting the past year and priorities for the coming year.

In a year that’s seen more polarizing slogans and soundbites, more demonstrations and heated debates than ever, looking each other in the eye and sharing our stories matters even more than usual.

In such moments, being able to cross political divides and remain in dialogue is a worthy challenge.

Join Agassiz Neighborhood Council and Lesley College of Art + Design for a FREE event, developed by the independent art-collective, U.S. Department of Arts and Culture.
