On October 28th, prolific photographer, author, and MacArthur Fellowship recipient, Lynsey Addario will speak about her experiences capturing powerful images in war-torn, dangerous environments, such as Afghanistan, Darfur, and Libya.

As chronicled in her best-selling memoir, It’s What I Do, Addario became relentless in pursuit of images that depict the cruelties of conflict as well as the dignity and humanity of the victims.

A film based on It’s What I Do is currently in development, having been optioned by Warner Brothers, to be directed by Ridley Scott.

Her newest book, Of Love & War available October 23, is a personally curated selection of her photographs across the Middle East, South Asia, and Africa.

A book signing will follow Addario’s talk.
