Jody Marchand’s husband Brian shot and killed their 17-year-old daughter Olivia, shot Jody twice in the face, and then shot and killed himself in their home.
In the aftermath, Jody created the Live For Liv Foundation to shed light on abuse and the forms it can take.
Constant criticizing, shaming, blaming, manipulation, mind games, isolation, and withholding affection can all play a role.
Learn the signs of emotional abuse and find out how to protect yourself and your children.
Jody’s presentation – hosted by the Westford Parent Connection – is being held at 7:00 p.m. at the Stony Brook Middle School, 9 Farmer Way, Westford.
It is free and open to the public, and is appropriate for adults.
