Throughout Jewish and Queer history, themes of liberation and home have been ubiquitous and dynamic.

In the LGBTQ+ community, home has meant physical safety and belongingness.

Liberation is a concept that continues to evolve, especially in relation to intersectionality with other marginalized identities.

In this program, we will gather for a discussion on the meaning and significance of queer homes and liberation.

Then, we'll be guided by a queer artist in the creation of a mezuzah and in writing a queered Birkat HaBayit (home blessing) for our own homes.
