The North End Music and Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) Opera Project is returning to the Great Hall in Boston’s historic Faneuil Hall with the production of La Bohème.

This opera promises its audience an indelible experience through the majestic setting of the Great Hall, its rich musical score, and timeless love story.

Another highlight is the children’s chorus comprised of a select group of NEMPAC music students.

Since NEMPAC’s founding in 2001, its children’s programs continue to grow, revealing the many treasures of musical education.

There is an enormous sense of pride watching the children blossom and now having the opportunity to perform on the big stage.

The performers include Grace Connolly, Sarah Connolly, Isabella Chavarro, Jadon Berkson, Rian Finn, Livia Pisani-Ricciarini, Eleonora Pisani-Ricciarini, Chiara Occhipinti Haskell, Niamah Malone and Georgia Klein.

Imagine the thrill these youngsters must be feeling having an opportunity of this magnitude.

Founded in 2011, the mission of the NEMPAC Opera Project is to serve Boston’s artistic community of singers, instrumentalists and artistic staff, as well as the general public by providing affordable opera in urban Boston.

We have challenged the boundaries of what a theatre space “has” to be by seeking out exclusively non-traditional spaces that provide a unique opera experience.
