You, the audience, pick the music to be performed in these five interactive By Popular Demand concerts.
Choices will encompass some of the best music from classical, film, Broadway, and rock - the great breadth of music the orchestra has played during 20 years with Keith Lockhart at the helm.
Selections will be grouped into categories such as 'Favorite Bugs Bunny Moment,' 'Favorite John Williams Movie Theme,' and 'Favorite Rock Ballad.' The first half of these concerts will feature some of the great programming introduced on Opening Night including a tribute to Ol' Blue Eyes on the 100th anniversary of Frank Sinatra's birth with such tunes as 'You Make Me Feel So Young,' 'In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning,' and 'Chicago.'
The 2015 Boston Pops season runs May 6 through June 13 and celebrates Keith Lockhart's 20th Anniversary.
