DeWitt Hall, Lasell College. Thursday, 20 August 2015, 7:00pm. Come hear Brian Wicklund in an annual Newton tradition!
Sponsored by the Suzuki School of Newton, Brian Wicklund and a band of hand-picked musicians from around the country return for their highly-anticipated annual Newton fiddle concert.
This year features Brian Wicklund, Katie McNally, and Mia Friedman, cellist Ariel Friedman, and guitarist Flynn Cohen playing genres and styles from all over the world.
Past concerts have included fiddle music from the American West, Appalachia, and Canada; Kentucky bluegrass; traditional Irish and Scottish fiddling styles; jazz; and the blues.
